This ain’t from the Don C pack if you were wondering.
As homage to his hometown, Chicago City, Don C named it the Legacy 312, after the city’s area code (312).
Details:
- The upper is from the “Air Jordan 1” model
- Midsole-outsole is from the “Air Jordan 3” model
- The strap is from the “Air Alpha Force Low” model
- This model isn’t from the “Don C” pack but from the newer colorways

I knew I wouldn’t be able to cop the Jordan 1 “Rookie of the Year” due to it being eyed by almost all sneakerheads, so I copped the next best thing; The Jordan Legacy 312 “Rookie of the Year”.
Got this at Titan Shangri-La for 7,300 PHP (around 140 USD). No, it wasn’t on sale but it wasn’t that expensive compared to how they price shoes today.
The brown parts of the shoe are made of suede, while the white parts are made of leather.
The body of the shoe, the nylon tongue, and the iconic Air Jordan wings logo are from the Jordan 1 model.
Lace holes, heel tab, and midsole/outsole are from the Jordan 3.
Strap is from the Air Alpha Force Low.
I will update this post once I’ve worn it enough to break it in just to see if it’s comfortable.
It’s a solid shoe. The design is great. The feel is awesome (based on trying it out). Price isn’t that bad. While others are hating on the strap, I actually love it, it makes it more unique.
When there are pros, cons come hand in hand with it. This isn’t for everybody. It’s a really bulky shoe. It’s on the heavy side. I’m pretty sure it’s going to take a long time to break this in.
Overall, while it may not be for everyone, it is still a damn good pair at a fairly decent price point. For those wanting this pair, cop it while you can. For those who aren’t fans of these kicks, you aren’t missing out on a lot.
I have one more new pair that I copped the same time I got these shoes, but that’s for a different post.
