*UPDATE* Second trailer for VENOM

**UPDATE**

Sony has just released the HD version of the trailer after it got leaked! I removed the leaked footage with the new one! You’re welcome!

The first trailer was underwhelming. No footage whatsoever showing Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) as Venom or even at least with the symbiote. This second trailer, however, has been like a 100x better. You get to see Venom in the flesh already! Check out the trailer below and let me know what you think of it!

What’d you guys think of it? Let me know down below!

ILLUMINATI

Not THE Illuminati, but the one from Marvel Comics.

This group is made up of Professor X, Black Bolt, Namor, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, and Mr. Fantastic.

I’ll provide a link here if you guys want to know more about them.

Now, I didn’t really plan on making any blog posts about my sketches but I am extremely proud of this set that I have made.

I wanted to make three groups of two with each set having a distinct trait or the characters having something similar with each other.

In this first set, I started with the two kings first.

Black Bolt and Namor.

For the second set, I put Professor X and Doctor Strange together. Something about them makes it feel like they’re good together because of the traits that they have. A good leader, they’re powers, etc.

Last but certainly not the least, I put two of the greatest minds together, Iron Man and Mr. Fantastic.

And finally, I present to you, the ILLUMINATI

This set actually tested my patience and determination. There were so many times where I wanted to just quit and give up on this set just because I suddenly felt like it was too tedious and a waste of time. I finished it though. I had to. It felt like I would let myself down if I didn’t. I pushed through and here we are. The biggest and best sketches I have ever made in my personal opinion.

Now, who’s next?

Any suggestions on who I should draw next? Comment down below!

STAR LABS

I FINALLY GOT ONE!

I’ve been wanting this shirt for a while now but I haven’t been able to get one since the stores near me DO NOT have this in stock. I mean, c’mon man, WHY?! It’s a sought after shirt and you don’t have it in stock? SMH.

Fast forward to a few days ago (same time I got my pink H&M shirt), but just to make the long story short, I saw the shirt, I tried the shirt, I bought the shirt. It was that simple. No more second thoughts. I had to get it. Though I was thinking of getting the sweater instead of the shirt, but with the unpredictable weather (which is hot and dry most of the time), the shirt was more reasonable to get, and it was cheaper.

I got this shirt at Pop Culture inside Trinoma for P400.

The Red Band trailer for the Deadpool movie has been officially released!

For all the young readers under the age of 18 out there, do not watch this trailer. Do not watch it. R-18 for a reason people.

Since the leak of the trailer during the SDCC, the cam recorded trailer has become viral already on almost all social media platforms.

Unlike Warner Bros, who officially released the trailer to The Suicide Squad due to them not being able to contain the leaked trailer, 20th Century Fox did not try to contain it (or maybe they did, but I don’t think they’d be able to do it) but promised to release the trailer soon.

And they did.

The trailer. Is. Awesome. R-18 baby!

Check out the trailer!

What do you think? I’m excited to see the movie!

Warner Bros. finally released the HD trailer of Suicide Squad!

The guys from Warner Bros. have officially released the trailer for the Suicide Squad, after someone leaked the footage from comic-con.

Nothing new is added in the trailer. But you do get to see everything better (well, duh!).

I do have to say, the Joker does look terrifying.

The teaser trailer for Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot is here and it is AWESOME!

Fantastic Four.

One of the most famous superhero groups in history. Back again on the big screen after the box office flop (and also quite entertaining) that is, “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer”.

The first F.F.4 movie was already quite wonderful if I may say. The second movie, well, it was just entertaining. I only liked it because of the Silver Surfer. They didn’t even show Galactus. How the hell can you make a Fantastic Four movie with the Silver Surfer in it, but not show Galactus? That’s just messed up. But honestly, I kinda thought it was good that the sequel flopped. If it didn’t, honestly, would we have Chris Evans as Captain America today? Who knows how many sequels they could have made if Rise of the Silver Surfer didn’t flop?

Going back to the main topic. I hope Josh Trank made a very good reboot of the movie. I saw the trailet twice already and I only have high hopes for it. But if it flops, well, you win some, you lose some.

For those of you have not seen the trailer yet, check it out below:

Also, here’s the first official poster for the movie.

Margot Robbie to portray Harley Quinn in the upcoming Suicide Squad film

Margot Robbie, who starred in The Wolf of Wall Street, is set to star in the new upcoming film, The Suicide Squad, as Harley Quinn.

For those who are not familiar with The Suicide Squad, here’s a brief summary from Wikipedia:

“The Suicide Squad is an antihero team of incarcerated supervillains who act as deniable assets for the United States government, undertaking high-risk black ops missions in exchange for commuted prison sentences. The group operates out of Belle Reve Penitentiary, under the directorship of Dr. Amanda Waller.”

And for those not familiar with Harley Quinn:

“The 1994 graphic novel Mad Love recounts the character’s origin. Told in the style and continuity of Batman: The Animated Series and written and drawn by Dini and Timm, the comic book describes Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzell, M.D. as an Arkham Asylum psychiatrist who falls for the Joker and becomes his accomplice and on-off sidekick.”

“She becomes fascinated with the Joker while interning at Arkham, and volunteers to analyze him. She falls hopelessly in love nearly instantly with the Joker during their sessions, and she helps him escape from the asylum more than once. When the Joker is returned to Arkham after a battle with Batman, the sight of her badly injured patient drives Harleen insane, leading her to quit her psychiatrist job and don a jester costume to become Harley Quinn, the Joker’s sidekick. She later becomes fast friends with Poison Ivy, who injects her with an antitoxin which gives her super-human strength, agility, and immunity to toxins.”

The upcoming movie is set to hit cinemas on August 5, 2016.

A simple review of Guardians of The Galaxy

I just watched Guardians of The Galaxy last night with my dad, and it was spectacular!

If you’ve read my first post about GOTG, then you should know that I wasn’t entirely excited when I found out that they were making a movie of the comic book characters. That is, until I saw the trailer and got pumped up for the film, and last night, I was able to find out why Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 90% rating.

From the characters, to the character of each character, the story, and everything else, it was just perfect.

I won’t really talk about everything that happened in the movie. Why? Because you should go out, watch the movie, and find out for yourself.

The movie was action-packed, full of humor, had a bit of sadness, and it was also full of the epic “I AM GROOT” line. If there was anything else I wanted Marvel to have included in the movie, it would have been Rocket’s “Blam! murdered you!” line.

If you love Batista in WWE, you are really going to love his character Drax in this film. Batista really pulled off his role in this movie with flying colors.

It is really a feel good movie. Even the soundtrack, which was so retro, was so cool that it gave the movie a different feel to it. The actors and actresses were well casted, everyone fit their role perfectly!

And speaking of roles and characters, I’m going to reveal one spoiler from the movie (which some of you already know)… Thanos was in the movie, and not just in his hologram form but also in the flesh. We all know that Josh Brolin was going to portray the mad titan, but when I saw Thanos, I was like, “That can’t be Josh Brolin, it doesn’t look like him.” to me, it was like Thanos was real and that he wasn’t portrayed by anyone else. Him being there makes the movie really worth watching.

I’ll end this post right here before I get to type more spoilers, but if you want to know what happened in the movie, head on over to Wikipedia.

If some of you are not sure if whether you’re going to watch it or not, please do watch it. It is worth your time. I promise you that,
