New Batfleck image from SDCC!

DC has just released a new image of Ben Affleck as the Dark Knight. Unlike the previous black and white image they released of Affleck as Batman, this one is a close-up on his face that showcases the color of his new cowl.

I hope that they were able to give him more head movement with this new cowl, because, like the costume designs in Batman, Batman Returns and all other Batman movies, the actor has to turn his whole body just to look the other way around (which is very weird) and unlike Christopher Nolan’s take on the costume, where the cowl was a separate piece on Batman’s outfit and not connected to the main neck piece.

Very cool if I may say. I really love that they chose Frank Miller’s costume design for Batman in “The Dark Knight Returns” for this movie. Though it’s not blue like we ought it to be, it still looks badass and, how could you go wrong with black? Especially with Batman!!!

I just wish that they don’t let Batman use his throat cancer voice in this film.

What do you guys think? You digging the costume? Lemme know what you think by commenting below!

“**UPDATED** Now with Quicksilver and Hawkeye!” Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant man concept arts!

A week or two ago, Marvel released 8 photos from the upcoming sequel to the Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron. And just recently, they have released 6 new concept arts for Age of Ultron and also 1 concept art for Antman.

Eventually, once they unveil all the other remaining concept arts for Age of Ultron, you will be able to connect each picture to one another and form one epic and huge poster. Except for Antman’s, his poster has nothing to do with the other pictures.

If you’re interested to see the artworks, see the pics below!

Arsenal in Arrow!

All geared up and ready to go, Colton Haynes is back to reprise his role as Roy Harper for the third season of the hit TV show, “Arrow”. But seeing him play Roy Harper again is just boring, right? That is why the CW has released a brand new pic of him sporting his new costume as Arsenal, which includes: A red leather jacket (similar to the Arrow’s outfit but.. RED.), also a red domino mask, and of course his own “red” bow.

I can’t wait to see more of Roy Harper dressed up as Arsenal! Get to see him and the other members of Arrow back on the boob tube this October for its third season.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY AWESOMENESS!

Damn!

I never thought Marvel could bring Guardians of The Galaxy to the big screen. I mean, c’mon, let’s face it… The GOTG are one of the lesser known comic book characters, even I don’t really know most of them. Well, except for Rocket.

To be honest, I wasn’t really excited for this movie. When they first announced that they were going to make it into a film, I was like “Guardians of The Galaxy? Who are they?”. So, I looked them up on  the internet to see if they were interesting enough for me to watch them on the big screen. I didn’t think that they were worth watching at all. Who would want to see a Space bandit, a talking raccoon, a massive walking tree from Lord of The Rings, a green alien with tattoos out for revenge and an adopted daughter of a mad titan in a live-action film? I honestly would, if I was actually familiar with them. And since not everyone knows who they are, it makes it kinda weird for marvel to include this film into their cinematic universe (MCU). I was even more excited when I heard the rumors that they were going to make a Black Panther movie than I was when I found out about Guardians of The Galaxy. I even told myself that this movie was going to suck and that it would be just another flop. Plus the fact that they cast Dave Bautista, (otherwise known as Batista in WWE) who, in my opinion, does not know how to act, to play the role of Drax “which is one of the major characters of the film”, was a turn off for me. Was it a good decision to give him the role? I don’t know. Yes, he is buff and that would fit the role of Drax perfectly, but acting wise? I am not so sure about that.

Then I saw the trailer.

It was pretty badass! It even has a different feel to it. They didn’t really showcase Dave Bautista’s acting skills but they did show a few scenes of him fighting, which was good enough for me. The trailer made me feel like I was wrong to doubt Marvel. All the characters looked amazing! Especially the graphics! I was in awe of the trailer. Then suddenly a lot of rumors that made me even more thrilled to see the movie started to pop out about Thanos being in the movie, GOTG having a major tie-up with Avengers, Michael Rooker will be playing a blue-skinned alien named Yondu (Who doesn’t like Rooker? He was awesome in the Walking dead!), and so on and so forth. I am confident that this movie will be a blockbuster hit.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, Guardians of The Galaxy has just released a 5-minute trailer full of EPIC intergalactic awesomeness! If you want to see the trailer, click the link below!

Starring:
Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Lee Pace and Karen Gillan.

Guardians of The Galaxy will hit the cinemas on July 31, 2014.
